Arthur to Speak at Global Competition Law Conference in India
L.Q.C. Lamar Professor of Law Thomas C. Arthur will speak at an international conference on competition law and policy on Nov. 17-18, in New Delhi, India. Arthur will speak on the topic of "Antitrust and Development: Institutional Lessons from the U.S. Experience."
There will be a private conference on the first day, exploring the issues of economic development and competition law. The proceedings of this workshop will be published by Stanford University Press in a forthcoming book series on international and comparative competition law. Arthur is a collaborator in the book series.
The second day is a public conference on the general topic of competition law institutions in countries with rapidly developing private sectors, like India and China, and new competition law regimes to deal with the problems of cartelization and monopolizations in these private sectors.List: <- Back to: News Releases
